An original sculpture in 1:12 scale of a beautiful, cantering Percheron. What circus would be complete without one of these "decked-out" dappled giants? Percheron are immensely powerful and versatile and have a distinctive, stylish action.
This was probably why they were a choice breed for the circus. Also, most important was their white or dapple coat which could be "hand-rubbed with rosin" without a trace (thus the nickname - "Rosinback"). Needless to say this was important for those bareback riders executing difficult feats on it's back.
